In this scene, I was particularly drawn to the beautiful architecture of the building, which is unfortunately contrasted with a range of cheap takeaway food and coffee shops below.
I used a palette knife for the background to create movement and texture, and then overlaid that using intricate hand cut stencil spray paint layers to achieve (perceived) definition. This is the second iteration of this piece where I have cropped it down to a square.
